High-energy; energetic; unpredictable; atmospheric; dirty; good-time; fun; raunchy; raw; rockin'...... All these descriptions apply to Flyers performances, each of which features the band's 'in-your-face' blend of rock, rock & roll, blues, rhythm & blues, soul and other music styles.

The Flyers are.... Leigh (bass, vocals), Stan (guitar, backing vocals), Keith (percussion) and Ray (lead vocals, sax and harmonica). A band that plays for the enjoyment of performing but at the same time plays for its audiences rather then at them. There is no self-indulgence here and this is what gives the band its edge and makes it a 'must see' live act. The success of this formula is reflected in the party atmosphere present at Flyers gigs and the fact that the other musicians often drop in on the bands' performances and may join in for a number or two. With an appeal that manages to transcend all age groups, the band always gets the audience involved in events and provides a great night's entertainment for all with the relaxed but electric atmosphere generated at their gigs.
